Privacy policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
FadeWork is operated by Inexcelsis, LLC doing business as NanoScript. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
Customers booking an appointment provide a name and mobile phone number, and may optionally provide an email address. Barbers provide a name, email address, and business details; a barber who chooses Pro enters the card on the Stripe payment page, and we keep only the Stripe customer and subscription references and the status of the plan, never the card number. We also keep the language each person uses on FadeWork, so their messages arrive in it. We do not collect payment information from customers.
How we use it
Customer names, phone numbers, and email addresses are used only to manage appointments and to send appointment-related messages (confirmations, reminders, changes) by text message, email, or push notification. We never send customers marketing email of our own. Your barber can send a regular who stopped coming a short email inviting them to book again; every such note says who sent it and carries a one-tap link to stop them. Your barber can see your name, number, email, and appointment history with them.
Services that handle data for us
Pages are served through Cloudflare. Sign-up, sign-in, password reset and online booking are checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, which sees your browser and IP address to tell people from bots. Stripe processes the plan payments of barbers who choose Pro: it receives their name, email address and card to bill the plan and send receipts. Text messages are sent through Twilio, emails through Microsoft 365, and push notifications through the push service of your browser maker (Apple, Google or Mozilla). Each one receives only what it needs to deliver that message or check.
Advertising
When we advertise FadeWork, our marketing and sign-up pages (the home page, sign-up, the page a barber sees after choosing Pro, the terms and this policy) may load the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag, so Meta and Google can tell us which ads bring barbers to FadeWork. They see your browser, your IP address, the page you are on and whether you created an account or chose Pro, and they set cookies of their own. We never send them a name, email address or phone number, and they never load on a barber's booking page, a booking link, sign-in or the barber dashboard, so nothing about customers or their appointments reaches them. To turn them off in this browser, use the button below; we also honor Global Privacy Control. Meta and Google also let you limit personalized ads in your settings with them.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share phone numbers or email addresses with third parties for their marketing. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any of our text messages to stop receiving texts. Every rebooking note from a barber carries a link that stops them. To have your email address removed, contact us at the address below. You can disable push notifications in your browser or device settings at any time.
